Designing an elderly care facility poses special challenges for the architect or planner. One has to safeguard the physical and psychological needs of the residents and staff, and at the same time keep within the financial budget of the building contractor.

The planning of a hospital, nursing home or care facility presents a great opportunity to build in optimum conditions for high quality care and a good working environment right from the start.

In order to further simplify work and save time when planning elderly care facilities or similar, ARJO has developed the Architects Tool CD in conjunction with the Guidebook for Architects and Planners. This CD contains everything from product information and specifications to space requirement drawings and CAD symbols that can easily be downloaded and inserted into facility drawings.

The CD will be updated on a regular basis when new products etc. are added. The latest available version is 4.0.
